Alex and his team did a fabulous job in challenging circs: namely the weather, the 60 steps up to the house and fitting in work around holiday bookings. Careful prep and thoughtful decoration have transformed the look and feel of the place. Also appreciated regular communication to ensure the final result was just what we wanted. Highly recommended.

Genuinely couldn't be happier with the work from Alex and his team at Strokes. We asked Alex to paint all interior walls, skirting and woodwork in our old cottage and they did an incredible job! Not only was the work from Alex, Dan and Mark top notch, but they also offered useful advice at the start and kept us up to date with progress throughout. Really professional stuff. The Strokes team did an excellent job at our period home. From wallpapering, to repair and painting of a range of interior walls, ceilings and woodwork, to repainting our kitchen cabinets.

Alex and his team did a fantastic job painting the inside of our house when we first moved in. Danny and Andrew were professional, high quality, cheerful and friendly, and worked well as a team.
I really appreciated the difference with a professional decorator- the time spent in preparation. It really shows on the finished job.
They worked around our building work, coming back to paint the skirting when the builder had finished.
I have no hesitation in recommending Strokes for decorating jobs, and will definitely use them again.

We used Alex and his expert team back in January 2021 to redecorate our holiday let.

Strokes were reliable, communicative and creative. They did a great job for us spray painting the walls, wallpapering and painting all of the woodwork. The price was very reasonable and they did a great job of finishing and cleaning up after themselves too.

Would recommend and use again for sure.
