I’ve dealt with many builders and have to say Sustainabuild have been by far the best on every front. Turning up when they said they would, sending quote on time and ringing to talk through it, team always professional in branded T-shirts, extremely polite and tidy. I had a garage knocked down and replaced with a garden room and most builders weren’t interested as it was more work removing the garage. Paul and Joe were very thorough explaining every detail, spent time understanding my vision and both gave ideas and suggestions and sourced lots for me. The project came in on time and budget and the end result is amazing. Paul is extremely organised with the budgeting side with shared spreadsheet of costs and payments in stages as work was completed. Professional invoices sent, very easy to pay via phone app. I really cannot find one fault and highly recommend Paul & Joe and the rest of their team. What I expected to be a stressful experience turned out to be a very enjoyable one as they took all the stress out of it for me.

Sustainabuild undertook a complete refurbishment of my 3 bedroom terrace house. The work took 3 months and was completed on time. The standard of work is outstanding throughout and the finish is immaculate. Any matters arising, problems or unexpected issues were dealt with quickly and courteously. Paul was always available when needed to deal with any queries. Very highly recommended.

Sustainabuild came recommended to us when we were looking for builders to help us extend and sympathetically restore our mid-Victorian cottage. We had already received quotes from a few other companies but as soon as we met Paul and Joe we knew that we wanted to partner with them. From the outset they actively listened to our ideas, made sure all our designs and permissions were in place, liaised with our architect and structural engineer and consistently came up with practical solutions to help us get the most out of our budget and designs.

Their attention to detail was very impressive. They knew that being in a conservation area and next to listed buildings we wanted the house to still retain its charm and character. They sourced materials that gave an almost seamless like-for-like look even down to the bespoke mortar mix for the bricks. They understood the look we wanted to achieve and worked tirelessly to source the right materials and appliances.

But most of all, the team were just lovely to work with. Whenever we visited the site during the works we always got a sense that they were having fun, while also clearly working very hard. They knew we had to be back in before September when school started and true to their word we were. Snagging has been minimal and we know that Sustainabuild will continue to be on hand should we need them.

The build came in on budget and any variances were mostly down to additions we made during the programme but Paul was always very transparent about costs and gave us options. Where we ran into challenges we found it easiest to talk face to face and Paul always made himself available.

Sustainabuild have not only created a wonderful new home for our family but they have also retained the character of our beautiful cottage and have future proofed it for future generations. We would work with them again.

I recently used Sustainabuild for my loft conversion.
I had spent alot of time thinking about what I wanted, I explained my vision to Paul and the result is even better than I imagined.
Lurie & Andre are friendly, extremely skilled builders, tidy and hard working. Brad the electrician was great too.
Communication with Paul was very good. No hidden costs, they charged as per the quote.

We invited Sustainabuild to tender on a town house refurbishment in Chichester which involved considerable changes to the property. The tender response was received on time and they were awarded the contract.

Minniedale Projects were appointed as the Contract Administrators and Project Managers on the build on behalf of our client. We found Sustainabuild punctual at our weekly meetings and progress on site was very good, delivering the project earlier than contractually agreed. They took great care with every aspect of the job and the work was delieverd to a high standard. Our client was very happy with the results! Project was a single story rear extension with a bathroom/ utility room. Paul and Joe were fantastic throughout, no issues, no surprises. On time and on budget. Very Good project management , costs communicated and controlled very well. At no time in the project did I not know, what had been spent and on what.

All the trades, were very good, high quality work and all very tidy. Will defiantly be using them again and have no reservations about recommending them. I was trying to think of some criticism I could feed back, nothing came to mind. Very pleased with the result.
