We engaged T L C Building Contractors to carry out the knock through of two external walls at the back of our house to create an open plan kitchen, dining and living room extension. Alan and his team carried out the work expertly. Each step was clearly communicated to us so that we knew what would happen and when. The work was planned diligently, with site safety, management of building risks for our property and our neighbours and making the process as straightforward and easy for us as possible all being addressed. The team on site were excellent. They all took great pride in their work and were a real pleasure to have around. As a homeowner, the high level of confidence that I had in Alan and his team, both in the work that they were doing and in getting it completed in the available timeframe, meant that we really could not have asked for a better experience. We would certainly recommend them to others (and already have!).

Alan and the team at TLC Building Contractors worked on our extension and internal rework - including new extension, knock through, garage conversion, new kitchen etc. It was a fairly extensive project, but the service provided by all was excellent in every way. Attention to detail, quality of work, advice on what to do, communications throughout, pride in work, project management etc. was all second to none. Alan, the owner, was in contact on a daily basis and oversaw all work being done. Advice given throughout the project was also great. Despite the work taking 5 months, Alan and the team were thoughtful in working out ways to makes things as easy for us as possible throughout the process. All of the team were also friendly and great to have around whilst the work was being completed. The end product is excellent and we are delighted with all work completed. We would highly recommend TLC.

The quality of product is good. However the service , quality of workmanship, and communication is very poor . Be prepared to do lots of chasing with a lack of priority given to issues and don't expect any contact from a Manager when you complain, they are invisible.
