Unless you want a garden like a bog pit , don't buy or rent one. My garden laid on a slope, evident by fence panels and water pooling towards the house, a ton of red clay underneath. No drainage system installed, TW even laid to me and said there was one. Nope , there isn't. There resolution was to relay 6 slaps on a 2mm incline to stop water pooling directly in front on patio doors. No its pools on the badly laid turf and has just created a bog pit of slushy mid and clay. Its ruined my flooring inside as it gets dragged in by my 2 dogs . My son hasn't been able to play outside for 3 months because of how bad it is. TW thought they'd be clever and come and inspect when it was frozen over. There resolution is to check if it has enough top soil. !! Wow. They've built a house and garden and a mound of clay with no drainage and now it's my responsibility!?!?! No impressed at all. Also have a black mould pat h in corner of bedroom ceiling , likely to be guttering leaking or small hole in roof. Also , kitchen cupboard doors are pelling and bubbling , ( the symphony range) I've been here 10 months. All this is supposed to be under defects , but getting them out to inspect and do anything is near impossible .

6 months ago we bought our house at meadow green, today, we have no heating downstairs and it’s -2 outside. Called their emergency line, apparently our heating not working when it’s snowing outside is not an emergency. They will not come out unless it’s a total loss, guess we’ll have to stay upstairs…

This is not the first emergency we have had due to their poor workmanship and they have also refused to attend to previous emergencies.

I moved into a house here in July 2022. The service received from the sales team through to options selection and final move in was absolutely fantastic.

Unfortunately the after sales care is non existent. No interest at all in closing out snags with TW ignoring correspondence or conveniently forgetting that snags have not been completed and closing them off at the TW end so you have to chase again and again and again. Despite escalations and complaints to TW I still have a list of snags that are just not being addressed and I cannot even get an answer from TW. While some snags have been closed out there are often new issues created by the 'repair' that TW then try and ignore or claim that it is 'fit for purpose' - see pictures for fencing that is apparently fit for purpose.

TW will take your money and then forget about you, as has happened with myself and others on this estate. Avoid and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Update: having escalated my fencing issues with TW three times now their response is that it is cosmetic only and therefore they won't correct it. Apparently their expectation is for you to spend hundreds of thousands on a new home and live with poor quality workmanship.

Poor built quality. Ongoing repair work even after 6 months of moving in. Very limited upgrade options. Extremely poor customer service.
Still no safe access from A5. We been promised the traffic signalled new road would be made available before end of 2022. However no work started. On further enquiry, the Taylor Wimpey tradesman exposed the long kept secret. Apparently, Taylor Wimpey couldn't secure the land necessary for the access road so far, which means, residents can no longer access A5 safely.
Access via longshoot been highjacked by other builders including BOVIS homes, and David Wilson. Both builders locked the access road, to store their construction material. We don't know how long Bovis homes and David Wilson would take to complete their site, before access road could be opened to general public.

Liked it. I would love to buy there but the cost of living is putting us off. I'm afraid if they did a part exchange, we will seriously look at it
