Good end product from MDB for approx 50sqm wraparound extension and full house refurb, from design through to build. Helpful and insightful intervention from James on a design point which got it through planning, regular good ideas from Kam the foreman on ways to improve the build, and Hamael always contactable to resolve issues. I've used MDB on a prior house loft extension, I think key is to keep close to the daily progress of the build and ensure key decisions aren't made without your consultation. I found generally if things do go wrong along the way, MDB resolve them.

Our house felt like it was falling apart just months after it was built. We had water leaks, electricity failures, roof leaks, and the overhangs and gutters were not connected properly so our white house turned green. They repeatedly ignore our calls. Crooks. I would strongly caution against using them unless you're okay paying out of pocket for all the recurring damages. They didn't even give advice or come to assess gas leaks in the property from poorly installed lines that were not properly insulated. Our house is 6 years old now and you can see from the photos it has just turned moldy. We have been chasing them on these issues for 6 years now.

We weren't sure exactly how to extend our house (loft conversion, extension to rear, add a storey to side extension or garden office). They discussed all our options and then gave us 3 designs based on limited budget, average budget and unlimited. From this we were able to come up with a design that met our needs and was within our budget.
They submitted the planning application and dealt with any queries directly, made the process hassle free.
Provided Building Control drawings and made amendments as build progressed.

Rare to find a build company who plans every week of the whole project meticulously and then delivers the objectives. I have a small rental portfolio and having worked with several other builders, Market Design make a welcome change in a largely unregulated industry.
They are also very competitive on price and offer the whole range of build work from design, planning and construction including a project manger till the handover. I was lucky to have a young man Hamael Javid assigned who is not only very professional with a huge supplier database for every aspect of build items but who was also very polite and friendly . His proactive attitude ensured issues were dealt with promptly and sometimes with very innovative ideas.
The workmen on site were also very punctual, hardworking and skilled in their jobs.
After 3 years of my project handover, this year they have addressed all the post build niggles as well . Would highly recommend

We recently completed a significant renovation project, transforming our home into a beautiful four-bedroom, three-bathroom space with all-new plumbing, electrical, and gas systems. Hamael, the project manager, was the key person responsible for this entire transformation, and I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough.

Hamael worked closely with us to ensure we achieved the best possible results, offering suggestions for improvement and collaborating with us at every step. His dedication to creating a great home made the entire experience enjoyable (which isn’t something you hear often with construction projects!). He worked with us to find solutions quickly and effectively when challenges inevitably arose.

Hamael took full responsibility for any issues related to TMDB, proactively addressing and resolving them completely. I always felt that he genuinely cared about delivering an outstanding final product.

At no point did I feel pressured to pay extra. All additional items were discussed in advance and were priced very reasonably. As the project progressed, Hamael and his team showed incredible flexibility to ensure everything was well-aligned and installed perfectly.

Communication was smooth, transparent, and proactive, which was especially important with the amount of work involved. I highly recommend this company and Hamael if you’re looking for a team that genuinely cares about doing great work and making the process as enjoyable as possible.
