Extending a house in a tight space in a national park on a limited budget was never going to be easy, but Rachel and the team at Thread Architects rose to the challenge designing a life-changing extension that met all of our requirements. We are very happy with the complete re-imagining of our home of nearly 30 years. We approached Thread with our general concept for the house, and they turned it into a reality, presenting us with models and computer renditions of the possibilities. Throughout the process they were all professional and enthusiastic, taking on the planning permission process and administering the building contract throughout the 8 month build. Having been back in our “new” home for over a year, we are still amazed by the transformation, and are really enjoying the new spaces, and particularly all the additional natural light that we now have. Thanks to Rachel, Andy and Anya 🙂
