We recently had our kitchen extension built by Tough Builders, everything was overseen by them even down to the simple to follow building regs applications that l had to apply for with local council.

The build was completed on time and we are very pleased with the result. Particularly noticeable how clean and tidy they kept all the work throughout. A marked improvement to our house and likely to ask Ian and Tom back to do more of the same in due course."

Ian and his team have just completed a small side extension for a utility room. I cannot recommend them highly enough - really hard-working and excellent quality work, completed in good time. Ian and the team are easy to deal with and were polite and professional throughout the build.

Really cannot rate the team enough. Turned up every day by 8. Worked hard and diligently throughout. All really friendly too. The speed and quality of work was great and they made a real effort to make our house livable with our then 3 month old. Ian really goes the extra mile, and he's got great contacts for other trades. If I had to go through the pain of getting another extension in the future, I'd get these guys back again.

Quite simply, fantastic builders. Right from the planning stage and even after the job was complete - we could contact Ian, the main builder, anytime and he was always so polite, friendly, articulate and happy to answer any questions we had. The various projects (extension, new kitchen, new patio, garden wall, plus other internal remodelling) were all completed on schedule, within the agreed budget, and to the highest possible standard. We were delighted with the work done to our home and would recommend Tough Builders to anyone.

Exceptional service yet again from Tough Builders!
We used Ian and his team to complete a garage conversion in our new home in 2019, they provided such great service ,we had them back ,last year ,to complete a large extension to the side of our home, providing us with a newly renovated kitchen, snug room , bathroom, large bedroom and creating a hallway, all with disabled access.
From start to finish Ians knowledge and expertise shone through, he advised us at each stage of the build and kept us up to date with our budget, so there were no nasty surprises, unlike builders I have used in our previous homes.
ALL of the work was completed to a high standard and with great respect for us and our home shown at all times, we even went on holidays and left them to get on with the work, feeling confident in their ability and trust.
I can not recommend Tough Builders highly enough!
We will definately be using them in the future!

They say all good things come to those who wait - well they do , I waited for Ian and his men to demolish and rebuild my garage , it was well worth the wait I can tell you , now it’s coming to the end of the build and the garage is looking great .
