We just moved in two weeks ago. The Front of House team is an amazing team naming Jo and Mik for getting back to my queries ever so quickly. FOH made the stay very comfortable, friendly, cosy and luxurious. Thanks to the building managers who also stand in to support the team.

I had an amazing experience for the services at Viadux. Love the apartment amenities as it is top notch. (hope residents could also do their part to maintain them on the long run)

Thank you for an amazing experience living in Manchester.

Viadux might look like a luxury development, and to be fair, some of the concierge staff like Paris and a few others are absolutely lovely but the way this place is managed by Urban Bubble is honestly a joke.

There’s a strict no guest policy for the pool and amenities, and if you bring a guest in even just once, you get banned from using the pool yourself. It’s completely ridiculous. We pay a ridiculous amount of money in rent, yet can’t even bring a friend or partner in for a swim. Their reasoning? Something vague about “funding” or some other utter nonsense that they’ve spewed.

To make it worse, someone recently got sent out of the pool for bringing their 12-year-old daughter, simply because she “wasn’t a legal tenant”. Imagine paying thousands a month to live in a so-called luxury building and not even being allowed to swim with your own child.

Nearly every single resident has complained about this policy, but Urban Bubble continues to ignore everyone. It’s honestly embarrassing. Beautiful building, yes. But the management and policies make living here frustrating and inflexible. You’re better off looking elsewhere.

Got banned for bringing my brother to the spa. Have not seen him for 3 months and wanted him to experience the spa. If you buy/rent a place from here you cannot bring guests. But all other places in Manchester you can. Very sad. This could have been a great place. Urban bubbles management has been shocking. A lot of the residents are not happy

The recent of policy in relation to residents not being able to bring guests to the spa, sauna, kareoke or gym facilities makes the entire place not worth staying in. It was a rug pull, you are reeled in on the promise of being able to bring friends around to use the facilities with you then they suddenly changed the policies a few months ago now the entire place is a ghost town where everyone walks on eggshells. Who would want to use a Kareoke room themselves? Receptionist is a power tripper beyond imaginable belief, my guess is he has very high pressures from above but has had no training on politeness. Awful place.

I wouldn’t recommend living here. My family member moved in back in June, and at the time, guests were allowed to use the spa and facilities. A few months later, they suddenly introduced a new policy banning all guests, which is completely unfair. Had my family member known about this restriction beforehand, they would never have chosen to move to Viadux. Changing the rules after people have already signed their leases feels misleading.

Terrible management by urban bubble not listening to residents. Despite majority of residents wanting change to this policy.

Perfect location and really nice building. Couldn't be more happy with the actual flat. Amenities are amazing and all the staff are really friendly.

2 huge fatal flaws though which make it not worth the price.

1) WiFi - Only option is this Kloud9 WiFi which simply put just doesn't work and costs £30.00 per month... I reported issues and the only advice Kloud9 would give is that I should disconnect and reconnect. They then told me it was my device and not their fault, however even when I got a new phone it didn't work. Their advice was then to disconnect and reconnect my device...

2) Amenities - The amenities are lovely and are genuinely first class, however there is a strict ZERO guest policy. I once tried to go to the pool with my father who was visiting town only for him to get kicked out within minutes despite the pool area being practically empty. I understand that guests don't want these facilities to be completely over ran with people not living there, however surely I should be able to bring my father, my girlfriend or a mate visiting town from time to time?

At the end of the day I appreciate 1* is maybe harsh here considering I do love the accommodation, however I am paying £1,700 per month for a one bedroom flat and I cannot even properly use the amenities (unless I want to do so alone) which are what make this more expensive and cannot get WiFi.

Therefore I would recommend almost any of the other high rises in Manchester until this is fixed, which hopefully it will!
