I couldn’t be more happier with the whole team. Especially customer service! I recommended this company to many of my friends as their prices are very affordable and team is super quick. What really stands out for me is the communication between all people involved. I had a side extension done and the extension of the kitchen with a massive lantern.
The time frame adhered to, there was no delays and the team worked after hours when needed.
Thank you to all of you as other quotes were just not possible for me!

WMHI have been amazing so far on my single storey rear and side extension. The builders have worked so well together and make such a good team. Despite cold weather they have worked so hard throughout, utilising wet conditions to complete indoor tasks and keeping the project on track. They tidied up at the end of each day and took all their tools away. They have been caring towards my possessions and covered my belongings with dust sheets. They are clearly experienced builders and tackle every task, from electrics, and plumbing to plastering and brick laying. They did it all meaning we weren't reliant on many other skilled tradesmen to come in. The team have kept to the time scale suggested at the beginning and have also been considerate to my neighbours throughout. I would highly recommend this team to anyone considering a project, big or small. I can't wait for mine to be completed.

Before embarking on this journey, I thoroughly searched for the right company to award this project to. Naturally price, expertise, and reputation were the biggest drivers. And these guys delivered on all that and more.

From Kal to Mandy, Balkar and his incredible team to Tom our site manager, and all the amazing people in between, everyone worked insanely hard over a 10 week period to give us a rear and side conversion of our dreams.

From start to finish, they managed the project efficiently and effectively meaning I could actually relax and trust the process. Their communication, advise, expertise, and diligence was second to none. External contractors, friends, and neighbours have all commented on how great the build team worked every day - they really are true testament to WMHI and what the whole team has achieved from planning to popping that first bottle of something special.

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. If you're looking for the full package then look no further.

Organisation, communication, and punctuality have been fantastic throughout the project. I’m very particular about design details, and the team has been incredibly patient and attentive—nothing has been too much trouble. They’ve listened carefully and delivered at every step.

Kal (the owner) and Guv (the site manager) conduct weekly site visits to provide updates and inspect the team’s work. Mandy, Bianca, and Raja from the office maintain constant, clear communication.

Just wanted to say thank you to Westmidlands home improvements, had a wrapped around extension done from them, they provided us with some excellent builders, site manager, and the team at the head office, they were in contact on with us weekly basis, made sure all the work was progressing smoothly & efficiently throughout the building process, they were very professional. They provide finance too, which helped me alot, during the building process, I would highly recommend them to all my family & friends.

These guys have turned our unusable conservatory (cold in winter/hot in the summer) into a beautiful extension to our bungalow. Rob the site manager was there all the way. The builder Inder was amazing, his workmanship is 10 out of 10! The guys worked really hard, cleaned up every day. Very professional. I can’t recommend them enough.

Highly recommend West Midlands home improvements. They were great from start to finish and very easy to work with. It really made quite a stressful journey that little bit easier. Where there were issues they were quick to resolve. Their pricing was very transparent and competitive. The work was completed to a high standard throughout and they were sensitive to the needs of our family during the project in causing minimum disruption.

PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

I have waited a few weeks to calm down before posting this honest review of West Midlands Home Improvements Ltd, as I really needed some time to get over the absolute ordeal that they put us through!

Back in February a very pleasant salesman Kal (who turned out to be the owner) came to qoute the project, and reassured me that ours would be a "very small" job for them as they are specialists, and would take a maximum of 6-8weeks from start to completion, we wanted some time to think and compare qoutes. A week later the office called to say if we agreed, we could have 10 free spotlights. Called my husband to confirm and then called back to accept *AT THIS POINT I SHOULD HAVE RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION* As when I called back, suddenly we wouldn't be entitled to the "Free" spotlights without having the whole job reqouted, I said there was no need to reqoute the job if the spotlights were free! After some argument back and forth they agreed they would do them free.

All paperwork and contracts were signed and a start date at the beginning of March agreed.

For the first 5 weeks everything SEEMED to be going to plan, until the normal builder went on holiday, and our brand new flat roof costing £6800 was constructed in less than 8 hours on a rainy day. They finished at 7.30pm so it was too dark to see, so the next morning I went to check the work and was appalled!
Next to the joists a full size piece of plywood filled with black mould had been used! There were no joists hangers, the wall plate wasn't bolted to the wall, the noggins were uneven, there were screws hanging out everywhere, the kerb had only been put on 75%, they had missed the vapour control barrier out completely, there was no flashing and no top coat and no insulation in the eaves!
I voiced my concerns to WMHI and they told me it was all fine, and to await the inspection. ALL WORKED HALTED
A week later the inspection took place and the inspector was disgusted by the level of workmanship, not only was the roof completely wrong and had to come back off, but about a 3rd of the blockwork had to come back down too!

WMHI promised the work would be quickly and carefully fixed

A week later the original builders came back to site, and started to strip off the roof. I knew by now what exactly needed doing and went out to check there progress. They tried to use drywall screws for the joist hangers, had left the noggins as it, had redone the blockwork worse than previously! I informed WMHI of my concerns and was told again it was fine and they'd sort it. The next day the builders smashed our patio door panel and threw it in the skip without informing me, missed the cavity wall insulation and the final straw was I found the main builder screwing plywood instead of 18mm osb 3 onto the joists again! At this point I threw the team offsite.

By now we were 8 weeks into the build and Kal finally made an appearance, he promised to fix all the issues with a brand new team and site manager. The new site manager came a week later, and I went out to meet the "new" team......it was the ones who messed the roof up in the first place! Needless to say they weren't allowed back on site, and another new team were promised the next day.

They did start and things seemed to be going well again, but the new team weren't always available so the work dragged out, and 15 weeks into a 6-8 week build we were finally ready for the 2nd fix electrics.
