Toby constructed the base for a very small conservatory / extension at the back of my lower ground floor flat. I would thoroughly recommend him for any building work for the following reasons:
- First of all, he was extremely polite and considerate in dealing with me as a customer and always punctual
- His work was always to the highest standard and he really thought through any issues that occurred until he came up with the right solution
- His attention to detail is meticulous
- He is very concerned about “aesthetics”, in that he was always ensured that all finishes were “pretty”
- He always left the area he was working in clean and tidy and ensured that any materials and equipment which were unavoidably left on site, were stored very tidily and safely so as not to cause me any inconvenience
- He always communicated with me immediately if there were any problems around the agreed workdays and times
I am absolutely delighted with the finished conservatory and can’t praise Toby enough!

Highly professional service from start to finish. Toby’s communication was great and his explanations of the work and requirements were clear and accurate. Unlike many, Toby left the site clean and tidy every day and took enormous pride in his work. Toby had done a brilliant job replacing my house doors.
He was punctual, alway give me notice of the time he would turn up.
He gave me advice and quotes for options how to do things.
Always tidied up and cleaned as I hardly noticed any dust where he worked.
Very polite and respect my home environment.
Reasonably priced and the job he has done is top quality finish.
He followed on even after being paid for adjustments.
Very pleased and already recommended him.

Toby did some carpentry work for us and completed it to the highest standard. It wasn't an easy job, but Toby persevered until it was absolutely right. Toby was also very good at keeping us up to date via email with regards to materials and in confirming the date for the work to be done. Very pleased with Woodhams service and would highly recommend.

Toby Woodhams is a very polite, articulate and thorough craftsman. His attention to detail is exacting and was above and beyond our expectations. This may not make him the cheapest of craftsmen as he will not compromise on quality of materials or workmanship. Covid19 put delays on the work being completed due to supply issues of certain materials but the work was done as quickly as the situation allowed and we are very happy with the result which was completed exactly in accordance with his detailed and agreed estimate.

Toby supplied and fitted new internal doors throughout the house. He did an excellent job, with a superb work ethic and an eye for perfection. Nothing was too much trouble and he left everything neat and tidy. I would certainly use him again.
