We approached Z ARC Architects when we were planning to add an extension to the back of our house. We had never done anything like it before and did not really know where to start. Amal made the whole process very easy. He was happy to talk through everything until we understood, he produced very accurate plans and his professionalism gave us complete confidence in the service he supplied. His fees seemed very reasonable and were in line with what we were expecting. We would happily recommend him.

We engaged Amal for Architectural services for our project and it turned out to be a brilliant decision. He is highly professional, extremely patient and soft spoken; he dealt with all our queries in a calm and collected manner making us feel completely at ease. He was able to absorb our design ideas whilst providing alternatives and using his technical expertise and knowledge he translated all that into meaningful designs/drawings for us. He is very approachable so much so that I was never hesitant to call him even outside of normal working hours. The response time was quick and advice genuine – what more would you want. I very much enjoyed working with Amal and would highly recommend him.

We used Z ARC architects for a significantly sized two storey extension on our house. Amal was extremely professional at all times and kept on budget and to deadlines. Attention to detail in the drawings was spot on and he has used every inch of the house to maximise the internal space. When we've had questions he's always been responsive. Great experience and would highly recommend to anyone who is need of an Architect!

Amal did a fantastic job for us on the design and project management of a major refurbishment and extension of our house. He helped us to transform the living space to get the best from a basement living room and kitchen and came up with some great space saving ideas for the upper floors as well. I asked Z ARC to create a design for an extension. Amal Weerasinha was full of ideas about what could be achieved but he listened to what I wanted and the final result was brilliant. He used his ideas to maximise the limited space - this is something he is very good at - every nook and cranny was utilised. The plans were drawn up with me being involved every step of the way.They were successfully taken through the planning process in a professional way. They were approved as Amal is very knowledgeable and realistic when he approaches planning departments. All in all I would recommend Z ARC.
